Two UFC fighters with local ties, Wilson Reis and Patrick Cummins, have verbally agreed to bouts later this summer, UFC officials confirmed early Wednesday evening.

Reis, who will be dropping to the flyweight division, will face ninth-ranked Tim Elliot at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla. on August 23. The fight will air on FOX Sports 1. The fight be part of a UFC Fight Night, but there is no main event set yet.

Reis, who lost his last fight ibn February to Iuri Alcantara, is 1-1 in UFC and currently ranked 15th in the bantamweight division.

Cummins, fresh off his first UFC win on Saturday over Roger Narvaez, will fight fan favorite -- and San Jose native -- Kyle Kingsbury on July 26 at the SAP Center as part of UFC on FOX: Lawler vs. Brown. This will be a short turnaround for Cummins, while Kingsbury has not fought since September of 2012.

Like Reis, Cummins is 1-1, with his loss coming at UFC 172 at the hands of Daniel Cormier after he filled in for an injured Rashad Evans on a week's notice.

There is no announcement yet about where the fights will fall on their respective cards.
