The Philadelphia Championship (men) and the Liberty Classic (women)

What: These annual pro cycling tour races through Philadelphia are the last leg of the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling. (The Lehigh Valley Classic took place on June 1 and the Reading Classic takes place on June 5.)

When: Sunday, June 8; men's race starts at 9 a.m., ends approximately 3 p.m. Women's race starts at 9:10 a.m. on the same course and ends about noon.

Course: Both races start from the Ben Franklin Parkway at 22nd Street on Kelly Drive through Fairmount Park to Manayunk, and back to Center City. The women race 4 laps for 57 miles, and the men complete 10 laps of the Center City - Manayunk circuit, plus 2 opening laps from Logan Circle to the Art museum and 3 finishing laps between Logan Circle and Lemon Hill for a total of 156 miles.

Prize Money: $55,250 for the winners of the mens race and $25,000 for the women.
