TRENTON - Allan Horne gave up one run and struck out six in six innings to lead the Trenton Thunder past the Connecticut Defenders, 2-1, in the Eastern League last night.

The New York Yankees announced that righthander Mike Mussina would make a rehabilitation start for the Thunder tonight in Harrisburg.

READING - Dan Dement, Seth Bynum and Frank Diaz belted two-run homers as the Senators triumphed in the Eastern League.

MOOSIC, Pa. - Shelley Duncan hit his sixth home run, tying him for the International League lead, as the Yankees prevailed.

Duncan's blast tied him with Toledo's Mike Hessman.

Frederick 2, Wilmington 1

FREDERICK, Md. - Brandon Erbe struck out seven in six innings for his first win as the Keys topped the Blue Rocks in the Carolina League.

Righthander Daniel Cortes, who was assigned to the Blue Rocks from extended spring training earlier in the day, gave up both Frederick runs.
