Minor Leagues | McClaskey leads Reading win

NORWICH, Conn. - Tim McClaskey had a career day to lead the Reading Phillies past the Connecticut Defenders, 8-2, in the Eastern League last night.

The righthander allowed two runs in 61/3 innings, and went 2 for 3 at the plate with three RBIs. McClaskey, 31, was just 2 for 40 at the plate in his career before last night.
