Texas righthander

is on track to start tomorrow night against the Los Angeles Angels after being on the disabled list since April 29 with a strained left hamstring.

Manager Ron Washington said Millwood, a former Phillie, has been cranky about being on the DL.

Eight Cleveland players, including Grady Sizemore, Ryan Garko and Josh Barfield, will use pink bats in today's game as part of a breast-cancer awareness campaign on Mother's Day.

"I'll use it in the game and hopefully be able to take it home," Garko said yesterday.

The Indians' Jason Michaels is batting just .118 in home games but is hitting .313 on the road.

Mark Teahen of Kansas City moved from third base to right field in the off-season and made his major-league-leading seventh outfield assist Friday night - his sixth assist in six games.

The Phillies' Shane Victorino leads the National League with six outfield assists, including two yesterday.

Chicago's Jim Thome (rib cage) took batting practice yesterday, hitting against White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen, and said he felt much better than Friday and probably will start a rehabilitation assignment tomorrow with triple-A Charlotte.
