Hampton has thrown at least six innings in his last seven starts. In that span, he is 1-2 with a 3.72 ERA ... Hampton faced the Phillies on Sept. 18, allowing four runs (two earned) on six hits in seven innings ... OF Greg Norton has hit safely in 15 of his last 27 pinch-hitting appearances.
