Minor Leagues: Reading earns split with Sea Dogs

PORTLAND, Maine - Good news and bad news Friday for the Reading Phillies in Maine against the Sea Dogs.

The R-Phils took the first game, the completion of the May 27 suspended game, on a Brian Stavisky three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. But the Sea Dogs took the nightcap, 4-3, behind some timely hitting from Ryan Khoury, who went 4 for 5, and scored two runs.

CAMDEN - The River Sharks overpowered Bridgeport Friday night, holding the Bluefish to one run at Campbell's Field.
