Minor Leagues: Squirrels fly past Reading

READING - David Mixon tossed seven solid innings as the Richmond Flying Squirrels beat the Reading Phillies, 7-2, in the Eastern League on Monday morning.

Skyler Stromsmoe and Tyler La Torre each homered as Richmond salvaged the finale of a four-game series.

BUFFALO - Fernado Martinez ripped a walk-off grand slam off Scott Mathieson in the bottom of the ninth as the Bisons rallied past the IronPigs in the International League.

Lakewood 5, Lexington 3

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Jiwan James' two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth gave the BlueClaws the win over the Legends in the South Atlantic League. James Hewitt had tied the score, 3-3, with a leadoff homer two batters earlier.

York 5, Camden 1

Derell McCall gave up only five hits to pitch the Revolution into first place in the Atlantic League's Freedom Division with the win at Campbell's Field.
