Are either of you excited for the new camera work Fox is billing as "a television first"?

Being the sober journalist that I am, I will reserve judgment until I see the result. But if it's anything like that giant, plodding  transformer-like figure in a helmet that's been featured on Fox Sports forever, I'm skeptical.

If I wanted to watch a video game, I'd play Wii instead of watching the playoffs. The only positive I can see in this is that maybe it'll mean fewer crowd shots in between pitches. Fox loves their crowd shots. I want to watch the game and the players playing the game. Not a video game. Not the crowd. It's not that hard.

Particularly when the faces Fox is focusing on just happen to be the stars of their new fall series. Unless it's Hank Hill or Homer Simpson, I don't care if they're at the game.

Yeah, Fox is hit or miss with this stuff. Putting that little box with the score on the screen at all times was huge. The robot and the glowing hockey puck were less successful.

I'm impressed by The Simpsons reference, Frank. Next you'll be quoting lines from Archer and Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
