Giveaways, special dates on Phillies schedule

With tickets for individual games on sale starting Feb. 17, some fans will wonder about the dates of special promotions and giveaways.

With tickets for individual games on sale starting Feb. 17, some fans will wonder about the dates of special promotions and giveaways.

New this seasons are such freebies, for children 14 and under, as a Roy Halladay baseball (April 2), a Chase Utley Fathead Jr. wall graphic (July 24), and a Cliff Lee gym bag (Aug. 28). All fans are eligible for the Roy Oswalt Bobble Figurine (May 24).

Only fans entering Citizens Bank Park will get giveaway items. Limit one per customer.

Always popular are the Phanatic's birthday party (April 17), fireworks shows (July 28 and 29), Fan Appreciation Night (Sept. 22).

The list of this season's special promotions includes Dollar Dog Nights (with $1 Phillies Franks), and Businessperson's Specials, played weekday afternoons.
