ERIE, Pa. - The Trenton Thunder broke a 6-6 tie in the top of the 16th inning Thursday to outlast the SeaWolves, 9-6, in Eastern League action.

Ray Kruml had an RBI double to get things going, and Addison Maruszak followed with a two-run homer to seal the win. Fernando Hernandez set down the SeaWolves in order in the bottom of the 16th for his third win.

The game could have ended in 15 innings after Bradley Suttle scored on a Corban Joseph sacrifice fly, but the SeaWolves tied it in the bottom of the 15th on a two-out single by Brandon Douglas that drove in Shawn Roof, tying the game at 6 each.

SALISBURY, Md. - The BlueClaws' Garett Claypool blanked the Shorebirds through six innings - allowing just four hits and two walks - for his first win of the season.

Wilmington 1, Salem 0

SALEM, Va. - Blue Rocks starter Justin Marks and reliever Brendan Lafferty combined to shut out the host and Carolina League rival Red Sox on six hits. The Blue Rocks, on the other hand, had only one hit - but it was a home run by Deivy Batista.

Charlotte 4, Clearwater 0

CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Threshers lost their second straight game to the visiting Stone Crabs in Florida State League action. The Threshers were undone by outstanding pitching from starter Kyle Lobstein and reliever Joshua Satow.

The IronPigs' game against the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in Moosic, Pa., will be made up July 5.
