HALLADAY vs. RANGERS: Halladay, who is coming off back-to-back complete-game losses, has tossed CGs in two of his last three outings against the Rangers. He last faced them on April 21, 2009, allowing five runs with nine strikeouts and no walks in eight innings of a 5-4 Blue Jays loss. His previous two starts, both in 2008, were both complete games. He combined to hold Texas to five runs in 18 innings with 12 strikeouts and two walks in those two outings.
PHILLIES vs. WILSON: Wilson's only experience against the Phillies came in 2008 as a reliever. He allowed one run in two innings with three strikeouts and no walks. The 30-year-old Wilson moved into the Rangers rotation last season and was a revelation, going 15-8 with a 3.35 ERA in 204 innings. This year, he is off to another strong start.
