CLEARWATER, Fla. - Jose Duarte's RBI single in the bottom of the 23d inning early Tuesday morning gave the Jupiter Hammerheads a 3-2 victory over the Clearwater Threshers of the Florida State League in what is surely the most amazing minor league game of the season.

Both teams used eight pitchers and the Threshers' Joe Savery and Sebastian Valle both batted 10 times.

Lakewood 6, West Virginia 5

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Aaron Altherr's RBI single in the 10th gave the BlueClaws the win over the Power in the South Atlantic League.

With two out and two on in the 10th, Power pitcher Tyler Waldron struck out Lakewood's Torre Langley on a wild pitch, allowing him to reach first and bringing Altherr to the plate.

Lakewood starter Jesse Biddle struck out five in five innings while giving up three runs.

Frederick 4, Wilmington 1

WILMINGTON - Nathan Moreau gave up one run in six innings to lead the Keys past the Blue Rocks in the Carolina League.

IronPigs rained out. Lehigh Valley's International League game against visiting Gwinnett was rained out. The teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday.
