Minor Leagues: IronPigs tumble in Georgia; Reading claims a 4-2 victory

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Jose Lugo and three relievers limited Lehigh Valley to five hits as the Gwinnett Braves built a 5-0 lead and went on to defeat the IronPigs, 7-2, in an International League contest at Coolray Field.

READING - T.J. McFarland gave up three runs on eight hits through six innings, including two home runs, and the Aeros left nine men on base in a loss to the Phillies in Eastern League play.  

Delmarva 5, Lakewood 4

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The Shorebirds held the BlueClaws scoreless over the final four innings to earn a series finale win in the South Atlantic League. The Shorebirds put an end to a three-game losing skid.

Altoona 2, Trenton 1

TRENTON - The Thunder fell to the Curve in an Eastern League game. Aaron Pribanic (5-2) collected the win with seven shutout innings.

Camden 9, Lancaster 8

The Riversharks lost a shoot-out to the Barnstormers, 9-8.

Kinston, Wilmington 0

KINSTON, N.C. - A battle between two tough starters ended in a shutout win for the Indians over the Blue Rocks. Kinston's Giovanni Soto had one of his best starts of the season, but was saddled with a no decision. Wilmington's Justin Marks took a no-hitter into the seventh inning in the Carolina League game.

CLEARWATER, Fla. - In Florida State League action, Cesar Puello led off with a homer to right in the first, and that was all the Mets needed to beat the Phillies.
