LOS ANGELES - Baseball players are a different breed, a product mostly of the grueling 162-game season. Superstitions permeate the clubhouse throughout the season. A 10-game West Coast trip is the perfect setting for zaniness.

So that's how a reggae version of the famous "Rubber Duckie" song from Sesame Street has become a mainstay on the pregame music playlist in the Phillies clubhouse. Oswalt grinned as he played it. Now it's a good-luck charm for a group of grown men.
