Minor Leagues: 'Pigs' rally vs. Indians falls short

 INDIANAPOLIS - After being baffled by superb pitching most of the afternoon, the IronPigs rallied to tie the game in the top of the ninth inning against the Indians, then promptly lost in the bottom of the ninth, 3-2, in International League action Sunday.

Indianapolis righthander Jose Ascanio blanked the IronPigs on two hits over six innings, picking up seven strikeouts along the way, but did not get the decision.

READING - Reading Phillies righthander Tyler Cloyd earned his fifth win in impressive fashion: striking out 10 over seven shutout innings to beat Eastern League rival Altoona Curve.
