Ziegler revealed the agreement via Twitter, saying he's "really excited to stay in Arizona for a couple more years, at least."

Under the contract, the sidearm pitcher gets $4.5 million for 2014 and $5 million for 2015 with a $5.5 million option for 2016 that includes a $1 million buyout.

Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Troy Patton has been suspended for the first 25 games of next season after a positive test for a banned amphetamine.
