Aaron Nola and Phillies battered by Twins
MINNEAPOLIS - As the Phillies staggered to Minnesota for the start of a nine-day trip, Pete Mackanin and Andy MacPhail met Monday night on the team's charter plane. The manager, naturally, was frustrated by his sinking team. The president stressed a bigger picture.
"It's a long process," Mackanin said. "It's a painstaking process. I don't like to keep losing. They don't like to keep losing. Everything has to take its course."
