Hamels, Phillies beat Dodgers

Cole Hamels pitched eight scoreless innings and struck out nine batters to lead the Phillies to a 2-0 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday night at Citizens Bank Park.
Ryan Howard hit a solo home run in the win. Domonic Brown knocked in the other Phillies' run.
Ryan Madson recorded his 14th save of the season.
The Phils start a four-game series with the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park starting Thursday night.
