Height, weight: 5-9, 185

Age: 27 Birthdate: Aug. 13, 1981

Hometown: Playa Del Rey, Calif.

College: Texas Tech

Years pro: 4

How acquired: Signed as a free agent on June 5, 2006, after spending a year playing for Frankfurt in NFL Europe.

This year: Has moved ahead of Lito Sheppard as the Eagles' third corner. Recorded his first career interception in the Thanksgiving win over the Cardinals.

Career: Has played in 58 games, all 45 in his two-plus seasons with the Eagles and 13 with San Francisco in 2004.

Music in the air: His mother Yolanda was an opera singer and his father John an accomplished musician. Joselio, though, never got the music bug.

He's no Beethoven: "I wish I would have learned to play the piano," he said. "It would have been a cool thing to have in the arsenal right now."

Toughest loss: Hanson's father passed away in 2000 after a long bout with multiple sclerosis. "He had suffered so long," Hanson said. "He was in a wheelchair since I was 4 or 5."

Person he'd most like to meet: Barack Obama. "That would be big to talk to him," Hanson said. "I felt like I was witnessing history. That's something I can always say I witnessed."

Unique name: His mother is Panamanian and Joselio says his name is a hybrid of Jose and Leo. For the record, it's pronounced hoe-SAIL-ee-oh.
