Billy King says Nets sticking with P.J. Carlesimo

Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King told ESPN New York radio on Sunday that interim coach P.J. Carlesimo is the coach for now and that the team is not actively looking for a replacement for fired coach Avery Johnson. Phil Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy have been rumored candidates, but King said he had "not contacted anybody."

Tony Parker had 21 points and nine assists; Manu Ginobili scored 20; Tim Duncan finished with 18 points and 10 boards; and the San Antonio Spurs handed the Mavericks their sixth straight loss, 111-86, in Dallas. Dallas' losing streak is its longest since January of their championship season in 2010-11.

Elsewhere: Isaiah Thomas scored 27 points and made one of Sacramento's two four-point plays as the Kings handed the visiting Boston Celtics their third straight lopsided loss on a California road swing, 118-96. . . . Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points, and the Detroit Pistons edged the visiting Milwaukee Bucks, 96-94. . . .
