Five things you need to know about 76ers Friday

Five things you need to know about the 76ers today:

1. Joel Embiid is likely to make his road debut Monday against the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center. The Sixers center is scheduled to sit out Saturday's game versus the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena.

2. Robert Covington is putting up video-game numbers after being in a slump. The small forward averaged 17.5 points while shooting 57.1 percent from the field and 61.5 percent (8-for-13) from three-point range in the past two games.

3. Dario Saric did something no other rookie did this season when he posted his first career double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds on Wednesday. The 12 rebounds are the most by any rookie in the NBA.

4.  Embiid and Saric are the top rebounders among rookies. Embiid leads the rookie class with 6.8 per games, while Saric is second at 6.0.

5. The Sixers have lost six straight games to Friday's opponent, the Indiana Pacers, including Wednesday's 122-115 overtime setback.
