Report: Sixers talking Iguodala for Kaman

Marc Stein of ESPN.com is reporting that, according to sources, the Sixers are in talks with the L.A. Clippers to move Andre Iguodala. In return, the Sixers would get center Chris Kaman.

The Clippers have been hesitant to move Kaman, but, as Stein writes, the ability to get an elite small forward in return and the emergence of Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have made a move more possible.

Here is more from Stein:

"Although it's believed that the trade has not yet advanced past the discussion phase, sources told ESPN.com that the teams have discussed an Iguodala-for-Kaman swap.

The Clippers have long maintained that the only scenario that would convince them to part with Kaman -- whose career has been plagued by injuries but who had an All-Star season in 2010 -- is getting an elite small forward in return."

Earlier in the week, there was a report that the Sixers were in talks with the Warriors to possibly swap Iguodala for guard Monta Ellis.

The news of the potential sale of the Sixers overshadowed the trade talk, but as the weather continues to heat up, it seems as though the rumor mill will as well.
