Carmelo Anthony has gotten his wish, according to multiple reports.

Anthony, the Denver Nuggets' superstar forward, was traded to the New York Knicks last night in a blockbuster deal, it was reported by ESPN.com, the New York Post, the New York Daily News, the Denver Post, and other outlets.

According to ESPN.com, Denver will get Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov, the Knicks' 2014 first-round draft pick, Golden State's 2012 second-round pick, the Warriors' 2013 second-round pick and $3 million in cash. Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter and Renaldo Balkman will head to New York, the Denver Post reported.

Anthony was not at the Nuggets' practice yesterday as the team resumed workouts following the All-Star break. Billups left the team's practice without speaking to reporters.

Nuggets coach George Karl, after learning of the trade, said:

"I'm glad it's over.''

As a freshman at Syracuse, Anthony helped lead the Orange to the national championship in 2003, then entered the draft. He was selected by the Nuggets with the third overall pick.

In eight NBA seasons, the 26-year-old Anthony has averaged 24.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists, and has shot 45.9 percent from the field.
