Markelle Fultz will have to wait at least another three days to square off against the Boston Celtics.

That's because the 76ers rookie guard will miss Friday night's game vs. the Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center due to right shoulder soreness. The teams are scheduled to meet again Monday night at T.D. Garden in Boston.

Fultz will always be linked the Celtics. The Sixers acquired the first-overall pick from the Boston Celtics to acquire the point guard in June's NBA draft. Boston, in turn, used the third pick they received from the Sixers to select Jason Tatum.

Fultz will join Dario Saric (rest), Joel Embiid (left knee) and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (right knee) are Sixers players sidelined for Friday's game. James Mchael McAdoo (left hamstring) is questionable.
