Mandela to attend opening ceremony
JOHANNESBURG - Ninety-one year-old Nelson Mandela is expected to greet fans and players for 10 to 15 minutes at the World Cup opening ceremony on Friday before watching the rest of the game between South Africa and Mexico at his home. His grandson said the family has had to protect him because of his age.
