The Union will host Real Madrid at Lincoln Financial Field on July 23 and switch its previously scheduled MLS match that day to Oct. 8 in Seattle, the team confirmed Wednesday.
Earlier this season, the Union agreed to move its April 23 match against Real Salt Lake to Sept. 3 to allow its opponent to play in the CONCACAF Champions League final.
It will be the third match of a U.S. tour for Real Madrid, which is scheduled to play the Los Angeles Galaxy and David Beckham at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, July 16, and Chivas de Guadalajara in San Diego on Wednesday, July 20.
Last year, the Union hosted Manchester United. They also have scheduled an international match against English Premier League power Everton on July 20 at PPL Park.
