Rugby field set for PPL Park
THE FIELD for the USA Sevens Collegiate Rugby Championship has been announced. The event will return for a second year at PPL Park in Chester on June 2 and 3. More than 50,000 fans attended the two-day event last year, making it the largest annual rugby event in North America.

The event will return for a second year at PPL Park in Chester on June 2 and 3. More than 50,000 fans attended the two-day event last year, making it the largest annual rugby event in North America.
Returning teams are Army, Navy, Notre Dame, and defending champion Dartmouth along with local teams Temple and Penn State. Delaware will make its debut in the 16-team field, which also includes Cal, Florida, N.C. State, Wisconsin, Arizona, Maryland, Life University, Texas and Oklahoma. The teams will compete in 38 matches over two days in pool play.
Rugby will be an Olympic sport in 2016.
