2018 International Champions Cup schedule: Bayern Munich-Juventus in Philadelphia
Lincoln Financial Field will host a big-time soccer exhibition this summer, as five-time defending German champion Bayern Munich faces six-time defending Italian champion Juventus on July 25.

Lincoln Financial Field hosts a big-time soccer exhibition on July 25, as Italy's Juventus faces Germany's Bayern Munich in a matchup of European superpowers. The game is part of the International Champions Cup, the annual exhibition tournament that brings top foreign clubs to American shores.
It's the first time since 2014 that the ICC has come to town. The game should be one of the tournament's better matchups. Bayern has won five European Cups, and clinched its 28th German Bundesliga championship last weekend — with five games to spare in the season. Juventus has won the European Cup twice and Italy's Serie A 33 times, and is in first place this season with seven games to go.
Lincoln Financial Field is one of 14 U.S. venues hosting ICC games this summer. Others close to Philadelphia include MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.; Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J.; FedEx Field in Landover, Md.; and Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.
Heinz Field welcomes Hershey native Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund for a game against Benfica that's also on July 25. Dortmund will likely feel right at home in the Steelers' black-and-gold surroundings.
It's a shame that Pennsylvania soccer fans have to choose between Pulisic and Juventus-Bayern, but the choice is even tougher than that. MetLife Stadium hosts Manchester City vs. Liverpool on the same night.
MetLife Stadium also gets Real Madrid vs. AS Roma on August 7. Red Bull Arena hosts Benfica-Juventus on July 28. FedEx Field hosts Real Madrid-Juventus on August 4.
In addition to the many games in the United States, there are others including Europe and Asia.
This year's ICC includes a first-ever women's tournament, with participating teams including Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon and the NWSL's North Carolina Courage. There will be two semifinals, a third place game and a final, with all four games to be played at Hard Rock Stadium outside Miami.
