HARRISON, N.J. – If you didn't get to watch Friday's CONCACAF Gold Cup games, here's what you missed from the tournament's opening night.

28′: Dejan Jakovic scored Canada's first.

45 +2′: Scott Arfield made it 2-0.

60′: Alphonso Davies, the Vancouver Whitecaps' 16-year-old phenom, extended the lead to 3-0. The goal made him the youngest scorer in Gold Cup history

69′: As a sudden rainstorm started to pound Red Bull Arena, Roy Contout got one back for French Guiana.

70′: Sloan Privat cut the lead to 3-2. Wait, what? Yes, really. Blame a bad goalkeeping error by the Montreal Impact's Maxime Crépeau.

85′: Davies settled Canada's nerves by sealing the win, after some great buildup play from the Whitecaps' Russell Teibert and the Impact's Anthony Jackson-Hamel.

39′: Marcos Ureña of the San Jose Earthquakes finished a perfect cross from New York City FC's Rodney Wallace.

Halftime: A brawl broke out as the teams left the field. That was the only blemish on what was otherwise a spectacular atmosphere throughout the game.
