Soul signs receiver Hymes
The Soul have signed wide receiver Randy Hymes, the Daily News has learned. Hymes (6-3, 220 pounds) spent three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens before moving to the AFL. His best NFL season was in 2004 when he started seven games and caught 26 passes for the Ravens. Hymes, who played quarterback at Grambling and has spent time in the arena league as a signal-caller, had 51 catches and 18 touchdowns for Bossier-Shreveport last season. *
