Mustangs update: They lost a tough one to Utah, 61-58, last Saturday on a touchdown in the final seconds. The game featured a basketball-like 10 lead changes. . . . They are coached by Bob Landsee, who played nine games for the Eagles in 1986-87. Landsee was one of 62 players to file a federal lawsuit in February against the NFL for, among other things, hiding medical evidence regarding concussions. . . . Milwaukee quarterback Gino Guidugli has 29 touchdown passes and just three interceptions in 192 attempts. . . . Milwaukee's defense is second in the league against the run.

Soul update: They are riding a four-game winning streak and have scored at least 60 points in all seven games this season. . . . They lead the league with an average of 73.4 points per game. . . . Offseason acquisition Tiger Jones, the league's top receiver for Dallas last year, has had at least three touchdown catches in each of the last four games and has been clutch since Donovan Morgan broke his wrist. . . . Leading rusher Derrick Ross is expected back after missing last week's game with an eye injury. . . . The Soul have given up just three sacks in 222 pass attempts. Credit a substantial upgrade to the offensive line along with the quick decisions being made by quarterback Dan Raudabaugh.

Poll position: The Soul have the best record in the AFL and are ranked No. 1 in the coaches' poll for the third consecutive week.

Up next: The Soul host Jacksonville next Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
