Q: Last year, I went to an Eagles game at the Linc with my 9-year-old daughter. During the game, the guys behind us were swearing like, well, Eagles fans. I didn't expect the game to be a G-rated experience, but I also didn't expect that my daughter would hear stuff that would make a stevedore blush. I have tickets for a game this year, and I worry that it'll be the same thing all over again. Is it ever appropriate for me to tell fellow fans to watch their language?

- A Father in Doylestown

Sir Charles: No, it's never appropriate. Because those guys have probably been drinking, they're going to get mad - especially if the Eagles are losing - and something bad is going to happen. Most of the time fans like that are drunk, and it's just best to just let it go.

You should tell your daughter there are a lot of idiots in the world, and she needs to try to enjoy the game in spite of them.

If it gets really bad, you can tell the usher. But don't ever try to handle that situation yourself.

Q: As you walk around South Philly, you see nothing but dog droppings on the pavement, out in the street, along the curves, even put in your trash can.

How do you stop dog lovers from having their animals relieve themselves on your doorstep?

If it were left up to me, I'd pass a law that would require owners to register their dog's DNA with the city. Then, when a complaint comes in about someone having their dog going on other people's property, the city could test the dog poop for the DNA, and the owner would be fined $100.

- Sincerely Sick of Dogs in South Philly

Sir Charles: First of all, homeboy, you need to get out. Seriously, you need to come out with me and my boys for some drinks, because you got too much time on your hands.

Listen, it's rude and inconsiderate not to clean up after your dogs. I got two dogs, Mango and Yoohoo. They're little Mi-Kis. And you gotta pick up their poop and put it in a receptacle. It's just rude and inconsiderate to leave your dog's poop on other people's area. But to get a dog's DNA? You got way too much time on your hands. Though now that I think of it, that could be a good "CSI" show, "CSI: Dog Poop."
