Swag of the Week: Holy Moley! A Brother Ed Bobblehead
The Christian Brothers are a Catholic teaching order with schools around the world. "We're in, like, 84 countries," said Brother Ed Sheehy, of La Salle University. But only one brother has been rendered as a bobblehead, and that would be Sheehy, a beloved fixture on the bench at La Salle basketball games.

The first 750 students to arrive at this afternoon's game against Rhode Island will receive a Brother Ed bobblehead doll commissioned by the school to commemorate his 20th year teaching there and 20th year as "moderator" for the men's team.
Sheehy's duties in that role include a pre- and postgame prayer. He takes care to petition for the general good - "that we do our best, that we represent our families and our teams," he said - and not to beat the pants off the other guys, although sometimes he tiptoes right up to that line. "When we lost to Dayton, I said, 'Lord let this be an aberration.' That's close to praying for a win."
