Q: I've been dating a woman for a couple of weeks now, and it's going well. I've been open and honest about everything she's asked me about — except one thing: I haven't told her I lost my job a while ago, and am unemployed. I'm worried that she'll think I'm a loser and not want anything to do with me. I know I need to tell her; I'm just not sure how to bring it up. Any advice?

A: I was referring to the tweetaholics who need to get a grip and practice some twabstinence. There are better things in life than being attwicted to Twitter and following the mind-numbing, egotwistical tweets of a friend or somebody famous. Is it that important to know where somebody is eating or what they're eating? Do you really care what some rapper is tweeting about traffic in NYC? How meaningful can comments be in shorthand? If I have something important to share, I don't want to be held to saying it in 140 characters or less. Too many people use Twitter to say "I'm here" or "I'm gonna be there" or "This is cool check it out." And then there are thousands of tweeple hanging on every character of the tweet like it's Moses coming down with the Ten Commandments. I just don't get it. To me, it just seems like a waste of time. BFN and BR, dude.
