New Mormon Temple

Local journalists are given a tour Monday, August 1, 2016 of the new Mormon Temple on Logan Square. Close to the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple, will serve as the site of sacramental rituals for the region's 41,000 Mormons. It will be open to the public for tours between August 10 and September 9, after which it may be entered only by Mormons in good standing with the church.
