More than 200 activists with progressive groups such as Jewish Voice for Peace and Rabbis for Ceasefire assembled during Philadelphia's rush hour to urge a cease-fire in the Israel-Hamas war. Demonstrators shut down the Spring Garden Street Bridge in Philadelphia and blocked the westbound lanes of Interstate 76 on Thursday. Police detained more than 30 at the scene.
