The majestic ocean liner, built in 1951, carried celebrities and former U.S. Presidents, and still holds the record for the fastest ocean liner ever to cross the Atlantic. The SS United States Conservancy is working to rescue and restore the ship, which continues to remain hidden in plain sight in Philadelphia.
