Schools dismiss early to beat the heat

With temperatures expected to hit the high 90s this afternoon, one school in the region has decided to stay closed today while many others elected to send students home early. Philadelphia public and parochial schools will send students home after lunch both today and tomorrow, a district spokesman said.
