What our photographers saw on Friday, April 12th

Moments from our region as seen by our photographers.

Allyson Moultrie, 39, of West Philadelphia, a special needs instructional specialist with the Philadelphia School District, sheds a tear as members of the Philadelphia Masjid speak about the recent shooting at an Eid al-Fitr event that left three people injured. Moultrie has been attending and volunteering at the Masjid for almost five years. “It’s overwhelming and it’s happiness that no one was hurt,” Allyson said. “It was definitely a tragic event. It’s hard to see our children doing this. We have to figure out a plan to fix it.”
