See President Joe Biden speak in Philadelphia
Friday marks the eighth time Joe Biden has visited Philadelphia this year, and at least the 15th since becoming president. Biden announced that the region will receive $750 million in federal funding to build a hydrogen energy network, which he said will create union jobs, boost U.S. energy security, and help the nation meet its net-zero goals for greenhouse gas emissions.
President Joe Biden visited Philadelphia Friday for a speech about his economic agenda at the Tioga Marine Terminal. Biden announced that a hydrogen hub based around Philadelphia will receive part of $7 billion in federal funding meant to accelerate hydrogen as a clean energy source.
