CLEVELAND — Life is good in 76ers land.

Shake Milton had one of his best performances. The 76ers rested their starters in the fourth quarter. And they’re about to get MVP candidate Joel Embiid back.

Here are the best and worst performances from Thursday night’s 114-94 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse:

Best performance

Milton gets this. The Sixers’ sixth man was nearly unstoppable, scoring a game-high 27 points. Milton did that on 10-for-14 shooting, including 5-for-7 on three-pointers. He also had five rebounds, four assists and one assist and was a game-best plus-23.

Worst performance

Mike Scott gets this. The Sixers power forward made his third start at center in the past four games. On this night, he missed four of his five shots en route to scoring two points. He missed both of his three-point shots.

Best defensive performance

Matisse Thybulle gets this. The Sixers’ second-year guard had a game-high three blocks to go with two steals during his latest lockdown defensive effort.

Worst statistic

This goes to Ben Simmons’ shooting. The three-time All-Star scored five points on 2-for-11 shooting. He missed his last seven shots. All of his shots except for one 11-footer were around the basket.

Best statistic

You have to give this to the Sixers’ bench scoring. Their reserves outscored the Cavs’ bench, 65-26.

Best of the best

This goes to the Sixers’ finishing 4-2 on their six-game road trip without Embiid, who was sidelined because of a bone bruise in his left knee. This was a good confidence boost for the team that struggled in the past without the All-Star big man. Embiid is expected to return in Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Wells Fargo Center.
