Sixers-Raptors reaction: Joel Embiid’s windmill, Jimmy Butler’s screaming highlight NBA playoffs matchup

The Sixers put together a convincing win Thursday against the Toronto Raptors to take a 2-1 lead in the teams’ NBA playoff series.

Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler combined for 55 points and some memorable moments during the 116-95 win in the Eastern Conference semifinals.

Once the game was all-but decided, Embiid had some fun, including this windmill dunk:

This comes a few minutes after Embiid blocked Raptors wing Pascal Siakam, much to Siakam’s objection.

Siakam’s shin came a few quarters after Ben Simmons elbowed Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry an unfortunate area. Whether it was intentional or not ... you be the judge:

But Embiid got the last laugh on Siakam on the night, following the flagrant foul call, Embiid tallied another block on his Cameroonian compatriot, one of his five blocks on the evening. He had some fun at other parts of the fourth quarter, too.

Butler contributed some timely shots, and was mic’d up for the second game in a row, which uncovered the All-Star swingman’s desire to see Embiid shoot from the perimeter:

The Sixers weren’t favored in Game 3, and they’re not favored in the series. But, some experts are impressed with what the Sixers have shown so far.
