Dad Vail agenda

What: Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta.

When:  Today and tomorrow, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where:  Schuykill River.

Of note:  75th anniversary.

Competitors:  Largest intercollegiate rowing competition in North America; 130 schools expected.

Course:  2,000 meters.

Races:  150.

Cost:  Free.

Best place to watch:  Anywhere near the grandstand, about 2 miles north of Boat House Row.

Getting there:  Those taking public transportation can catch a shuttle to the grandstand on Pennsylvania Avenue, near the Art Museum. Those driving can enter Kelly Drive from either the north or south and follow signs for parking. Shuttle also will be available from the parking areas to the course.
