Tobias Harris’ dominant night, 76ers’ turnover woes, rare road victory vs. Toronto | Sixers-Raptors best/worst
Harris scored a team-high 23 points to go with seven rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots on a night he was an NBA All-Star snub.

The 76ers defeated the Toronto Raptors, 109-102, on Tuesday night at Amalie Arena two nights after losing their to the Atlantic Division opponent. Here’s a look at the best and worst performances from Tuesday’s victory:
Best performance
Tobias Harris gets this. The Sixers forward scored a team-high 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting to go with seven rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots on a night he was an NBA All-Star snub. Twelve of his points came in the fourth quarter on 4-for-5 shooting.
Worst performance
Isaiah Joe gets this, but after a lot of thought. Joel Embiid made just 3 of 13 shots and committed a game-high six turnovers. However, the NBA MVP candidate still managed to finish with 18 points and a game-high 12 steals. Joe missed both of his shots and graded out at a minus-3 in 3 minutes, 37 seconds of action.

Best defensive performance
Fred VanVleet gets this. The Raptors point guard had a game-high four blocks to go with two steals. More than a defensive stopper, he had 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.
Worst statistic
This goes to the Sixers’ turnovers. They committed 19 turnovers, with Embiid and Ben Simmons (three) leading the way.
Best statistic
This goes to the Sixers’ first-quarter three-point shooting. They made 7 of 12 three-pointers in the opening quarter. Furkan Korkmaz made most of them, going 4-for-6 from that distance.
Best of the best
The Sixers picked up a rare road victory against the Raptors. They had lost 16 consecutive regular-season road games to Toronto.
The Raptors are playing their home games in Tampa this season because of Canada’s border restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the public-safety measures in Toronto.
