NBA
LAS VEGAS — Giannis Antetokounmpo is not only a superstar, but he also will be a Super Hero in a Marvel comic in a few years. Kawhi is only, maybe, the BEST two-way player in the NBA.
Man, these guys are gonna make the handicapping tough. Before we get there, here’s a look at the regular-season series.

- In the first game back in October at Milwaukee, the Bucks (+2) posted a 124-109 win, and the total, 222.5, was an easy over.
- In December, the Raptors (-5) hosted, and the kids from Brewtown picked up another W, winning by 104-99. The total closed at 229.5, and went WAY under.
- Back in Milwaukee in January, the Raps (+5.5) finally broke through, beating the Bucks, 123-116. The total closed at 227.0 and went high.
- The final meeting of the season was up north at the end of January, and Milwaukee (+2.5) picked up a 105-92 victory. The total closed at 232.0 and went WAY low.
So, which way do we turn? Milwaukee is playing at a VERY high level, winning and covering eight of nine so far in the playoffs. Kinda tough to buck an 89% cover rate. The Bucks also love Brewtown, with a solid 10-3 record the last 13 times out.
The Raptors have covered just two of the last six, but you might wanna take look at the totals. The North has gone under in 10 of the last 13, and the Bucks have gone low in the opening game of both series so far. No idea if I spelled Antetokounmpo correctly, but we are gonna roll with the “Greek Freak” tonight in Game 1.
(Editor’s note: He spelled it right.)
