In Savannah, honoring the founder of the Girl Scouts

SAVANNAH, Ga. - "On my honor I will try, to do my duty" . . . the words bubbled up unbidden from the recesses of my brain. Passing through the Victorian archway and catching a glimpse of the long-forgotten trefoil logo unlocked a door to my childhood. The years melted away and suddenly I was 10 years old and a Girl Scout.
