TSA checkpoint for Terminal C to reopen at Philadelphia International Airport
TSA officers had been working since mid-February without paychecks because of a congressional budget fight.

Philadelphia International Airport on Thursday will reopen the TSA checkpoint for Terminal C after federal security officers were finally paid this week amid a congressional budget fight, officials said.
Officers for the Transportation Security Administration have been going without pay since mid-February because of a funding shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security.
Paychecks resumed on Monday, though the budget fight between Republicans and Democrats is still unresolved.
“TSA checkpoint in Terminal C reopens tomorrow with regular operating hours. We appreciate your patience as we worked with TSA to keep security running smoothly. A big thank you to our staff for supporting travelers during the closure,” Philadelphia International Airport officials announced Wednesday on social media.
TSA checkpoints for Terminals F and A-West remain closed, officials said.
On Wednesday, Republican leaders in the U.S. House and Senate announced a deal to fully fund the Department of Homeland Security, but its passage is not guaranteed.
