Friends and family celebrate the life of Dominique 'Rem'mie' Fells

On Friday, a day after her birthday, friends and family held a vigil to honor the life of Dominique "Rem'mie" Fells. Fells was a Black transgender woman who was found murdered along the Schuylkill River in June. The incident shook friends and advocates, including many who want Fells to be remembered for the person she was -- a lover of music, fashion, and people -- and not just for the gruesome details of her death.
