New mural goes up in Kensington at Prevention Point’s Love Lot

Philly non-profits Prevention Point and Mural Arts teamed up with artist Paula Rivera Calderón to create a new mural at Prevention Point’s Love Lot in the heart of Kensington. Calderón, a Kensington-based artist, was selected to create a new temporary mural, “The Point of Reciprocation,” as part of an ongoing series of installations in the Love Lot, next to Prevention Point’s main building. The Love Lot was created in 2023 to be a welcoming, colorful place where community members can gather and participate in services.
